“Wonderful, relaxing, delicious breakfast.”
The property is expansive and beautifully maintained. The owners invested a lot of effort into planning the layout and selecting the plants. It felt like an oasis amid Hocuba.

We were searching for a spot to explore major Mayan sites and cenotes, so we chose Cabañas Hunab Ku because of its central location. A one‑hour drive to Chichén Itzá and proximity to the Homún cenotes made us pleasantly surprised when we discovered that the hosts, Carlos and Fernanda, had turned their land into a small garden of Eden. Everything stays tidy, and walking among the trees and greenery around the modest huts feels peaceful. The estate focuses on self‑sufficiency, which shows in every decision that makes it a perfect rest spot between day tours. My wife and I highly recommend it! Nothing else to add.

The stay was wonderful, the hosts were really nice, and the cabin in the jungle gardens was sweet. The pool was lovely, and the cabin was comfortable enough to use the air‑conditioner at night. It’s convenient for nearby Homún cenotes—especially early in the morning. A few small taco spots in nearby villages (not on Google Maps) are worth visiting. It’s a great place to relax, and the cooked breakfast was delicious. The local villages are very basic, so bring cash for cenotes and tacos. Rural Yucatán is beautiful.

We couldn't even give this place five stars; it was simply amazing! Carlos and Fernanda welcomed us with open arms into their paradise. The cabins were gorgeous and supremely comfortable, with perfect beds, linens, and showers. Every morning we were treated to a delicious homemade breakfast and engaging conversations with Carlos about a variety of fascinating topics. They even offered to do our laundry, which we really appreciated. They catered to our dietary needs and shared great tips on which cenote to visit and other local spots. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and hammock. If you’re after a magical getaway, look no further—this place feels like home in paradise.
