This colonial‑style hotel is lovely, right next to Borobudur temple and local eateries. We stayed in a spacious, comfortable suite, and the pool was a welcome treat after a day of exploring.

We really enjoyed our stay here; the hotel is lovely, a heritage place we like, filled with interesting art pieces and comfort. An excellent location for Borobodur Temple and a nice pool to relax by. The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious. I would recommend it especially given the modest price. Some ambient music in the foyer and restaurant area would lift the mood.

The old‑world charm of the hotel impressed me, with beautifully decorated rooms, a superb location and everything kept impeccably clean; the pool was a great way to escape the summer heat. I did miss a few extra services, though—a small bar by the pool and a modest restaurant for meals would have been nice, and the breakfast offered limited variety.
