The place is exceptional, very pretty and tastefully decorated. The rooms are spacious, with air‑conditioning and a huge, lovely bathroom. The best parts are the views and the staff, who make you feel at home—or better! We left very happy. We were a family with two girls aged 6 and 10, and they had a fantastic time.

The resort sits in a secluded green area, away from tourist crowds, which we really liked! We rented a scooter from the resort and explored the surroundings. From the resort you can easily visit some waterfalls on your own. In the nearby village Badian there’s a nice restaurant called “Payag”. You can also order dinner at the resort, which is served at any time. Breakfast also needs to be pre‑ordered and is served at the agreed time. I can’t say anything negative about the food. The menu items are a bit pricier than at the restaurant, but still affordable. I want to highlight the friendly staff! The girls are all very kind and helpful. A big thank you to all the Marika staff for letting us check out later. We did have a spider in the bathroom 😀 I was a bit scared at first, but it was good that the spider ate the smaller insects. The rooms could have more natural light, but it’s not too bad. We slept great.
