It’s very close to Queenstown centre, the bed is comfortable, and there’s a small supermarket nearby.

The ambiance, decor quality, large rooms, comfy beds, and amenities like outdoor hot tubs, a gym, and a Nespresso pod machine are great. The only downside is the little 100 m hill you have to walk up, which is a challenge with ski gear after a long day.

The staff are amazing, especially with breakfast each morning—highchair and cleaning up afterward! The location isn’t bad, just a massive hill; with a 1‑year‑old you get a bit of a workout each time you come home. Nothing has changed in 10 years from my first visit. Cooling in the room was super hot; couldn’t figure out why the main room would go cold while the bedroom stayed hot.
