The hotel is conveniently close to the Beijing Fengtai high‑speed rail station, yet at night the air‑conditioner broke down and they didn’t move us to another room right away. After promising a change, a technician showed up with a ladder, spent a long time trying to fix it without success, offered a fan, and we endured a sweltering night until around 4 am when it finally cooled enough to get a little sleep; the front desk did give us a small gift as an apology at checkout.
