Cody was friendly and the place was clean, with a warm welcome and a charming old‑world feel; the pillows felt a bit flat and could improve, and the breakfast was decent but not overwhelming—one dish even turned out cold and I had to send it back.

I had a quiet room on the road side that was very spacious, clean, and had a rabbit theme; the bathroom was roomy, the step‑free shower was great, a heating rail kept it cozy, and a handy socket with USB hubs was in the room; the restaurant served great food, and there was a secure carpark; the only downside was the room being a bit dark—another lamp or a brighter one would help.

The location fit our needs perfectly, parking was safe and the room at the rear of the hotel was quiet, with a comfy bed and a nice bathroom; the room sat in a private courtyard that offered outdoor seating, but the small window in the door let bright courtyard light spill in all night, so a curtain over the door would have helped sleepers like me who prefer total darkness.

Good size room, with good facilities. We stayed in Dragonfly which had a separate sitting area, a conservatory and a small enclosed garden. Excellent food. There was a strong chemical smell in the room when we arrived. Presumably the cleaning products. It affected my husband’s breathing. We had the windows open the whole stay. Fortunately it was warm. There was noise from the pub until quite late, which disturbed our dog
