“It was a disaster”
The service seemed nice and the views were beautiful, but the manager tried to scam us out of money in a blatant, fraudulent way. On checkout day we went to Toubkal, the hotel kept our luggage, and the manager demanded an extra 20 euros or he wouldn’t pick us up at the foot of Toubkal after our descent the next day. We were exhausted, especially the kids, and when he sent a message saying we had to pay him or he would cancel the taxi that was carrying all our luggage and laptops, I told him I’d report it. He told me I could write anywhere I wanted, yet he still cancelled my stay, claiming I hadn’t shown up, which stopped me from leaving a negative review. Only after returning to Poland could I ask to be allowed to review again. We ended up walking several kilometers farther because the taxi driver didn’t show up at the pre‑arranged, pre‑paid spot. I still haven’t received an invoice or receipt for the several hundred euros I spent on site.
