“The stay was disappointing, not at the level I expected.”

The lady at the reception was not very kind. The apartement I booked, and paid a lot, was not the one I received at the end, the toilet was dirty, spider webs all over the place, no wifi service. When I complained on wifi they told me that it will be fixed in the next few hours.it was already 17.00. The receptionist was again extremely unplesent so I asked to speak with the manager, who was very nice and moved us to the right room. However, this experience impacted very much the quality of our stay. Receptionist was not quite pleasent, apartment was not the one I booked, it was dirty and not on the level promoted at Booking. I stayed in Tenuta di Sticciano, 10 years ago and it was an amazing experience, for me now a complete dissapointment. However, let me just point out that surroundings are beautiful

“Luogo magico”

Everything was great, 360° view of the surrounding hills, the room and bathroom were simple but clean, fitting the country style of the place. The restaurant really impressed us with the high quality of the dishes. We sometimes found the reception not operational, which left us a bit confused.

The location was very peaceful and offered plenty of facilities for a multi‑day stay, but the reception was handled by an uninterested lady who clearly had no enthusiasm every time you approached the desk. Unfortunately.

“La bellezza della campagna toscana”

The place is gorgeous in the Certaldo countryside, with a fantastic view, completely surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, incredibly quiet, a nice pool, and ample open space. I didn’t like the breakfast; it was too scanty for a property of this level. Both we and the other guests had to ask for cutlery and napkins, and there was no bread, which never arrived. It’s a pity because the savory items, with beautiful cured meats on display, suffered from the lack of bread. Improvements could include replacing the packaged jams with local products, which surely are available.
