The location is remote and stunning, and the people are friendly. The pool was warm, and when we arrived the temperature was 38 °C. We had no issues.

The peace here felt like a slice of heaven. We came as guests and left with two new friends (plus all the wonderful animals). It’s a soul‑soothing spot that gives a good dose of happiness. Rooms are large, well‑maintained, and professionally cleaned to a very high standard. I’ll keep coming back whenever I drive through the Karoo. It’s very close to Prince Albert. Nothing to dislike.

The property is tidy and well‑run, with first‑class facilities. Just remember it’s a self‑catering place; braai packs and other items can be bought from the owners. It’s 20 km outside Prince Albert and sits on a sand road.

A lovely spot a few kilometers from Prince Albert. We had a great time and wished we could stay longer. The common area, complete with kitchen and living room, is fully equipped. We booked two rooms for our boys and ourselves, and we met a friendly host couple and their dogs. Our boys (6 + 8) played for hours with them. The night sky was breathtaking. If you’re after a quiet, cosy place in the middle of the Karoo, this is it. We should have booked at least two nights to hike and enjoy everything here.
