The hotel sits right in the centre and most of the staff are very kind. The food is tasty and the breakfast selection is wide. My room was spacious and offered lovely views. The mattress was too firm, which caused back pain; we asked for a topper and were told yes, but it never arrived. The bathroom was clogged, we requested repairs and nothing was done. We kept telling the same front‑desk guy “yes” and he never followed through.

The proximity to the centre, the friendliness at reception, and a motorcycle parking spot right at the entrance were great; breakfast was abundant and high quality. The two advertised restaurants turned out to be one proper eatery and one snack bar. At dinner, a lady denied us access to the real restaurant in a rather unfriendly way and redirected us to the snack bar. We were quite upset by that treatment and the noisy Elvis‑fan, so we looked for a restaurant outside the hotel. It was a shame because an on‑site restaurant was a key reason for choosing this place. This approach also annoyed other guests. Throughout the hotel, a chlorine smell from the pool lingered.
