The room was clean and had plenty of amenities like a microwave, fridge, and coffee machine, but the bathroom door was just straight up uncomfortable—no one wants that.

The spot’s right on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and the guy at check‑in was super helpful and friendly, making everything smooth. The room was great, and there’s a bike storage room too. The shared kitchen was awesome—just one bread knife, so you have to share, but we were lucky that only two of us used it that night. There’s tea, coffee, a huge selection of milks including plant milks—thanks!—plus bread and spreads for every way you could toast. In the morning you can hop on your bike and ride across the trail. The bed was incredibly comfy, and the TV, microwave, and fridge were all handy. The only downside is the bathroom has no door, so if you’re sharing a room with a friend there’s no privacy for the toilet or shower, and the single bread knife is a bit of a stretch.

The bed and facilities were comfortable, and the hotel sits right in the center of town. The cleaner could do a better job clearing dust from the ledgers, skirtboards, tiles, and the wall around the AC.
