The manager’s service was good. The place looked old and wasn’t boutique at all. The sheets, duvets, pillows, and towels were in terrible condition, and I got a bedbug bite. The facilities were clean but not up to the promised standard. It’s a two‑star hotel.

The facilities, design, and cleanliness created a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere that feels very connected to nature while preserving the hacienda essence perfectly. The manager who attended us was very friendly. The only issue was that on the day of our stay the Wi‑Fi didn’t work, probably because of the August rains and wind, as we saw a fallen pole on the way.

It looks like a museum—spectacular! We had a bit of trouble getting there because it’s somewhat hidden, and we arrived at night.

I loved that it felt like a time capsule, taking me back to the hacienda lifestyle of the 1900s. There was no on‑site staff or snacks for when hunger struck, and the only lady on the property was not there full time; the restaurant didn’t run all day. I would have liked access to snacks and drinks.

The hotel sits in a quiet spot, but I ended up with a very unattractive room that had little light, terrible noise from the neighboring room, and a carpet filled with sand on the floor.
