When we arrived the stove was already blazing, a cozy surprise in the snowy night. The place feels like a family farm, but if you don’t know how to keep warm, you’ll wake up freezing in the morning.

The house is super cozy, with the sound of water and birds lulling you to sleep. The surrounding area is full of wildlife and natural beauty, and there are plenty of castles, museums, and parks nearby so you never get bored. The Wi‑Fi is fast, the kitchen has a good selection of dishes, and the beds are comfy. Finding it is a bit of a hunt – follow the signs near the wooden church and look for the fifth cottage on the left, and don’t forget to bring a curtain for the bathroom.

The chalet on Buchara is a dream for a family break – we had everything we needed, and the huge living room with a big stone stove kept the whole place warm even in winter, though we had to open a window sometimes. The owners were friendly and we’re happy to come back. The only downside was the short stay and the heavy snowfall when we left.

The spot is in a peaceful setting and the snowy Christmas night felt like a fairytale. We were greeted by a Christmas tree and a warm fireplace, and when a fuse blew the owners fixed it right away, even on Christmas Eve. Plenty of firewood was ready, and we brought our dog for a small fee. The host shared great local tips.

“Krásné místo pro pár nenáročných přátel”

This is a nice place to relax, especially with the fantastic fireplace. The only drawback is the lack of an outdoor grill.
