“Magnifique lieu”
We didn’t book, we found it expensive. Breakfast was limited, there was no mid‑range pricing. The room was small and faced the parking at a rate of 478 €, the fridge had issues, the TV remote didn’t work because the batteries were oxidised, and we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor pool, sauna, or the indoor pool was too cold with the doors to the outside left open. I think we were unlucky; the temperature difference was more than 10 degrees.
“Fabulous luxury retreat in the French countryside”
Everything was perfect: lovely staff, great rooms, a brilliant historic setting, excellent pools and hot tubs, amazing views, and a top‑class restaurant. I liked everything about it.
The location is great and the view is terrific, overlooking the Var. The pool hours are slightly restrictive, but otherwise there’s nothing to complain about.
The building’s style was appealing. The jacuzzi and indoor pool were too small, and the breakfast was overpriced, which is a pity.
The hotel is very beautiful, the grounds are well maintained, but there is one drawback: there is no food for children at all and no lunch.
