There was no toilet paper or bath cloths in the room. I had booked the room with my card for my son and then added his name to the booking, but because his name wasn’t on the card he couldn’t use it to pay. The booking difficulty and the lack of supplies were the main issues.

The staff were very friendly, and I was worried about the reviews, but I stayed on the second floor near the bar and never heard the music that someone complained about. The room looked clean but needed a remodel; the bedding, drapes, and some furniture were very outdated and should be replaced. Breakfast was just waffles and toast, with a little fruit, apple or orange juice, and coffee. I had toast every morning, but it wasn’t appealing. Yogurt, muffins, or bagels with cream cheese would improve it.

The waffle maker didn’t work, and the receptionist acted like she didn’t care. When I returned an hour later, it was fixed. The breakfast was poor or nonexistent, so I’d consider not offering it at all; I wouldn’t be upset. The service care was lacking.

The hotel was well lit at night and the attached sports bar and grill was a nice touch. I’m disabled and there were no disabled rooms, so I was sent to the second floor and the key wouldn’t open the door; I had to return to the front desk and wait for help. A second set of keys for a different room finally worked. I ended up with a room that had two queen beds, both of which were harder than sleeping on the ground outside. Breakfast was supposed to run until 9:30, but at 9:00 there was no coffee, no juice, and no staff to help.
