The place is well‑located and the building looks nice, but the service was just okay.

The setting is quiet, the reception is friendly, there is a bike parking spot, and the breakfast is good, but there is no air‑conditioning, which was unnecessary in this warm weather, and the price is a bit high.
“Family hotel with a personal touch.”
It’s a family‑run hotel that feels personal; the rooms are small and cozy, and they focus on local products; the rooms come with a coffee machine for when you wake up, and the breakfast is amazing; we chose this place because we were walking the Pieterpad with our family. The only downside is that there is no option for double beds.
The breakfast was excellent, they asked what you wanted and delivered exactly what was promised, and chatting with the owner made the stay very pleasant.

The owner is driven and involved, super welcoming, and also a great chef in one person; you can sign up for a three‑course menu that he prepares himself, which is a lot of fun, and there was nothing to complain about.
