Modern rooms have air conditioning, flat-screen HDTVs, and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is in the El Born district, a 5-minute walk from the Picasso Museum, and near Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter.

The common areas were nicely decorated, especially the bar under the skylight where the bartender was friendly; the overall vibe felt cozy and relaxed, and staff wore T‑shirts instead of formal wear. I appreciated the refresh room that let me shower after checkout, and the location on the main road was convenient—just a 15‑minute walk to Barcelona Nord and close to many spots in Barcelona. The hotel’s toiletries were from Le Labo, which I liked. However, some room fittings were slightly broken, like a table lamp shade, and the signature room I booked fell a bit short of my expectations. The corridor is a public area where other guests can walk by, which made me feel less private and safe.

This stunning property impressed us with its beautiful design and top‑class facilities; the stylish rooms, restaurants, rooftop terrace, and gym all contributed to a serene experience right between El Born and Parc de la Ciutidella, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing stay in busy Barcelona.

The hotel’s location is great; you can walk to many sights. Our room faced the street, so we couldn’t open the window!

The historic setting and easy access to attractions were great, and the building itself is old and aesthetic. Unfortunately, the room with the terrace is inside the courtyard and visible to all residents, so privacy was lacking and it often smelled bad, especially in the morning. The gym was very basic—more focused on looks than functional exercise machines. Breakfast was also very simple, with almost no vegetables, no fish (not even salmon), and only basic cheese with no hard varieties.
