The breakfast coffee, bread, and pastries were very good, and the other products were fine. The location in Zuchwil is a bit outside Solothurn, but the old town of Solothurn was about 15–20 minutes on foot. In the accommodation you could park the car free in the underground garage. The online check‑in was a bit anonymous, but it worked perfectly. Luckily, a friendly lady at the entrance explained the process briefly.

The place feels very modern and clean, but the light control on the Tableau requires some getting used to.

I arrived at 19:20. It’s a self‑check‑in, yet the machine wasn’t working. A waitress from the adjacent restaurant tried to help but had no solution. I called an emergency number and an extremely unpleasant gentleman told me there was nothing he could do. After two hours I finally managed to cancel my booking and get a refund. It was really not ideal to find myself at 21:30 in the suburbs of Solothurn with nowhere to sleep…

Everything was spotless and the design was functional yet appealing, though I could hear a bit of street noise.
