Super Hotel Shinagawa Aomono-Yokocho

The value for money was good, the hotel was definitely clean, and the breakfast was discreetly served; the location is perfect for arrivals from Haneda. However, there was no communication: check‑in was scheduled for no later than 23:00 (ridiculous), I sent a message about a possible flight delay and received no reply, and when I complained to the receptionist it felt like talking to a wall. Breakfast was only available until 08:30, the room was small and the bathroom was unacceptable, the room was for three people, the loft bed was not prepared and the preparation was not expected. It’s fine for one night only!

The restaurant on the ground floor seemed to serve a different beverage each night – one day they offered alcohol, the next night a sleep‑aid tea, both of which guests could help themselves to, which was fantastic 👍; however, the room was on the small side, so it might not suit travelers with large luggage.

The hotel sits close to Haneda Airport, and the toiletries are decent. You can wear the supplied pajamas, slippers, and pillows from the lobby. The Japanese‑style lunch was a bit limited, and the reception closes at midnight. The corridors and elevators feel very hot, and the room and bathroom are too small.

“また泊まります”

The hot spring, breakfast and drink bar were all great, yet having three separate washing stations in the bath area caused trouble when it got busy, and later arrivals just poured water over themselves and went straight into the bath.
