Set on one acre of landscaped gardens, it features an outdoor pool, BBQ area, and free parking with space for boat trailers. The tour desk arranges dolphin‑feeding tours, Fraser Island, Rainbow Beach and whale‑watching trips. Nearby cafés serve breakfast.

A nice quiet spot. The room was clean and comfortable. Wake up early, hand‑feed the dolphins near the boat ramp.

The spot right by the entrance made parking a breeze, which was a real plus. Unfortunately, sandflies kept buzzing around and the kids next door were pretty loud, and the tiled bedroom felt a bit cold. All in all, convenient location but a few annoyances.

The room surprised me – it’s been nicely updated and felt nicer than I’d expected, though the outside of the building still looks a bit dated. The bathroom, however, is cramped with the tiniest vanity I’ve ever seen, taps are hard to reach and there’s nowhere to set toiletries while you shower. To make matters worse, the fridge rattled all night and the motel is pretty isolated from shops, restaurants, or the beach.

The room had all the little comforts you want – good coffee maker, soft linens, and a handy desk – and the location was spot on for getting around. I couldn’t ask for more.
