Everything they needed was on site, the rooms were spotless, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed six days and had to request fresh towels and extra tea or coffee; it would have been better if housekeeping checked those items daily.

“Honest”

The facilities were well kept and very clean, and everyone kept noise levels down at night, which was nice since most people were working away from home. Unfortunately, not all guests with dogs cleaned up after their pets, and I had to step on partially covered dog poop with rocks. The children’s play equipment had black spiders around the slide and other gear, so my kids were a bit cautious. The towels in the cottages were too small and thin for taller, stockier people, making drying difficult, though they were fine for small children. Overall, the cottages are small but suitable for a very small family.

“It was good for the short time we were there.”

The cabin was conveniently located and the facilities were good; we were upgraded to a superior cabin, which was a plus. The bed felt quite hard, the only mirror was in the bathroom, and there was little bench space in the kitchen area.

“Pleasant good value for money”

The cabin was clean, the TV simple but workable, and there were complimentary biscuits; however, the Wi‑Fi, lighting, heater, and toilet flush pressure were lacking.
