The location was super convenient, though it was a bit tricky to find at first. The lady who managed the space was outstanding. The breakfast could have offered a slightly wider variety.

Riad Sesame, a renovated riad in Marrakech’s historic Bab Doukkala district, sits just 50 m from La Maison Arabe and within walking distance of Jemaa el‑Fna, the souks, Le Jardin Secret, and Ben Youssef Madrasa. The six air‑conditioned rooms feature private baths, premium bedding, free Wi‑Fi, and modern amenities.

The welcome was great. The services left something to be desired.

Latifa was very friendly and greeted us with tea. The biggest annoyance was that Booking charged me for two nights in advance, and when we arrived the administrator Latifa charged us the same amount again, saying she only accepted cash and not card payments. She didn’t even give a receipt, so Booking can’t refund my first payment. The shower drain was clogged, and there were no towels the next day.

Queen Latifah was the best host in all of Marrakech. We’ll miss her!

Latifa was very available and kind. The location of the riad is great. The riad feels a bit old‑fashioned. There was no shower gel (the single‑dose one provided is neither practical nor high quality).
