The lodge is located inside the Uros community on Lake Titicaca. The owner was extremely kind, picked us up at the port on his boat and brought us to the lodge. He offered us the chance to kayak on the lake and, for an extra fee, prepared a delicious dinner. Even though the night air was cold, the blankets were very warm and we felt no chill.

The staff—Wilson was incredibly helpful and nice—delivered great service, a beautiful view, and the idea of sleeping on a lake was appealing; breakfast and dinner were good. On the downside, the location is too isolated, there’s nothing to do in the evening or night, it was very cold, the tap froze in the morning so there was no running water, the décor felt a bit kitsch, and the altitude made me sick, though that’s not the lodge’s fault.

The place was clean, offered a great view, and the host was amazing. An extra bottle of water in the room would be nice.

The lakeside location is wonderful, the furnishings are very tasteful, and the silence is an absolute highlight! There is nothing else that comes to mind.

The hosts were super sweet and helped us with everything we needed. The lodge is super cozy and offers a unique experience in a special place. My only regret is that we didn’t stay at least one more day.
