Just up the hill from Eichstätt Stadt station, the fossil‑famous spot has displays that differ from others, which is interesting. Breakfast is a bit varied each day. Overall it has an old vibe, but that actually felt calming and good. The staff were very pleasant. The shared toilet and shower were sparkling clean. No major issues, though I think there was no elevator at first glance.

The reception was friendly, thanks to Tobias and Irmi who gave me helpful tips. The quiet setting, location and view were very relaxing, and I could walk quickly to the river and the old town. Nothing bothered me.
