The decor was charming and nostalgic for the 80s, and everything important—sheets, towels, bathrooms—was spotless and clean; the staff were warm and welcoming, and for a motel this was great!

The location was fine, but the room was old and worn.

I stayed for a school reunion; decades ago it was a nice place with a nice view, and it still has a nice view, but the building is old and dark, and part of the hotel is used for Section 8 type housing.

The place is huge, quiet and peaceful, and the owners are kind, friendly and quick to answer. The corners were a bit dusty and the windows could use some fixing, but they’re safe; the bathroom needs to be retired or updated.
