The spot is great, but the shower walls looked unclean and the previous fixes seemed hastily plastered over; I know the building’s old, yet the repairs could have been more meticulous to keep the bathroom looking tidy and well maintained.

The location is great and walkable, but the space was poorly maintained—walls had patches, curtains were stained, the room was small and cramped with the bed blocking the bathroom door, the pull‑out couch was in the kitchenette and blocked access to the room when opened, the floor was sticky, and the available plugs were hard to use; I understand it’s a 2‑star hotel, and if I had paid a reasonable rate I would have been less disappointed, but it was WAY too expensive for what it was.

I liked how comfortable the bed was and that everything was cleaned; everything was good there.

I liked staying in a very historic building, but there were too many stairs to reach the top; otherwise it was a good stay.

I loved that the hotel was pet‑friendly and that the staff were so helpful.
