Good location, clean, and staff were friendly. The price was a bit high for a three‑star property in low season.

The breakfast was exceptionally delicious, varied, complete with cured meats, cheeses, homemade cakes, fruit, drinks, and flawless, friendly service. The terrace area of the apartment is too small for a week's stay with a traveler carrying large luggage, and the storage furniture is impractical. The narrow bathroom is next to the hotel laundry, and the noisy washing machine runs at night. Air conditioning is essential day and night because the building lacks thermal insulation and is exposed to the sun from morning, especially during a week with temperatures above 29 °C. The pool is calm and surrounded by beautiful scenery. This family hotel is well situated for visiting the central, northern, and western parts of Elbe. The old stone house, the terrace breakfast area shaded with a view of the Portoferraio gulf, and the welcoming, efficient catering staff make it a great spot.
