“Very nice apartment in a beautiful area”

The place looks exactly as advertised and stays very clean and comfy. The bed and sofa are super cozy, and the bathroom, though small, is adequate. There’s a tiny kitchen area with a hob and microwave if you want to cook, but no kettle or coffee maker, though we boiled water in a pot and it was fine. The apartment feels like a cave, so it stays cool without A/C, which we didn’t need. Some say it’s a bit dark, but that’s just the style—lighting adds character, and you can open the shutters for more light. The apartment is only 50 m from a free car park, but remember Pampaneira is very hilly, so moving around can be tiring. Plenty of bars, restaurants and artisan shops are within walking distance. We spent half a day exploring the hiking area and the river, which was worth it. After climbing the steep hills, the hot tub was a real blessing 😃. The only drawback was the missing balcony, which they said was under repair, and we thought a small table and chairs for eating would have been nice.
