I found the lodge in a great spot, just a short stroll to the café and pub at Pah beach, and the gardens around the property are lovely with a comfy bed. The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need, and Fiona was very helpful in organizing things and giving solid local advice. I’d recommend bringing a torch or flashlight for nighttime, as the island gets very dark.

Fiona and Mike were fantastic hosts, offering plenty of useful tips for exploring the island and being super accommodating to our young kids; it was a bonus that we could feed the chickens and let the kids play on the trampoline. The location itself was good, but the family unit we stayed in felt a bit run down and in need of some TLC.

Fiona is a supportive, friendly, and patient host, and the garden is a lovely spot to sit and relax.

The hosts were very nice, the lodge sits in a beautiful garden and is only a five‑minute walk from the beach. I’ll definitely return.

I was upgraded to the family unit, which offered plenty of space. The short walk to Pah Beach, the local store, and café was convenient, and parking was easy. I slept well. The only downside is that there isn’t a sea view, and in hindsight I might have preferred that.
