“La padrona di casa è unica”
Great neighborhood, well served, with interesting zoo and museums nearby. The house is uniquely styled, just like its host, Anne, who is exquisite in every way. Thank you

Anna’s houseboat offers a one‑of‑a‑kind stay right on the water in Amsterdam. The location is superb, with canal tours passing by and the Artis zoo nearby; a 5‑minute walk brings you to tram lines that take you anywhere in the city. Anna is on site to ensure you have everything you need. The bedroom is beautifully decorated, the bathroom is huge with a full tub, walk‑in shower, and two sinks, and the kitchen is fully equipped with coffee and tea. Two comfortable couches and two TVs are available, and there’s a floating dock/balcony for waterside seating and large windows to enjoy the view inside. Anna baked tarts, made breakfast, and was extremely gracious and welcoming! There is nothing to dislike; the entire boat is spacious and well laid out, and even a video wouldn’t capture its charm. I could have stayed for months instead of just a weekend

Enjoyed staying on the houseboat and watching all the other boats. The neighborhood was great and quiet. Anna was a wonderful host and we loved interacting with her. Loved it all!

The host was really pleasant, the houseboat was beautiful, the surroundings were lovely and quiet, yet close to the city center, and the breakfast tasted great. The room was just a bit small.

Last Saturday we arrived after a warm bike ride and it was great to be able to swim right away! The boat has a nice veranda by the water where you can sit outside. Anna is a thoughtful and friendly host, and as a guest you can partially shield a section of the boat if you wish. It’s a unique spot, right in Amsterdam, but still feels calm, far from the street. Across the canal is Artis; for us that was a bonus, we went there the next morning. The breakfast was very extensive and varied, and the coffee was good :-), in short, it was a short stay of just one night, but very good.
