The view and the pool were nice. The room was far from clean – there were cigarette butts in the ashtray, a dead lizard in the mosquito trap, the ambient candle had burned out before we arrived and a replacement never came, the mosquito net smelled awful and was dusty and unusable. Table service was borderline, as we were practically forced to sit down at 7 pm and then again at 7:30 pm despite our wishes, and the evening staff were absent, chatting among themselves instead of serving. Breakfast service was very mediocre for the price charged; when my wife objected to the cheese in her plate, we were told it was standard and not offered an alternative, and we only got one yogurt for two of us. Overall, we felt completely let down by the night rate plus the extra charges for dinner, breakfast and drinks.

The spot is close to the beaches and the nearby mountain, the reception gave great advice for outings around the area, and the poolside aperitif had an amazing view.

The location, view, restaurant, and dinner and breakfast menus were great, but there was no view from the bay window and no door in the bathroom, which made privacy a concern.

My stay was truly exceptional, thanks to the warm welcome from Lisa and the hotel's unique charm. The breathtaking views of the sea and mountains were a perfect setting for our Valentine's Day celebration. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the special Valentine's Day dinner prepared by Muriel was a culinary delight. We felt truly pampered during our stay.
