What an oasis of tranquility this hotel is; we stayed here for our babymoon and left completely refreshed! The small‑scale setting means you can enjoy breakfast in peace with an amazing view. Everything was great, but the lighting in the room felt a bit unwelcoming. It would be nicer to have lamps with a warm yellow glow instead of the white tube lights.

A beautiful spot—remote yet still central for the North. The staff were very friendly, the pool lovely, and the breakfast generous. The rooms were spacious.

Very quiet. Beautifully located with friendly staff. It’s truly charming, but I find it too expensive for what you receive.
