I didn’t find Guayaquil very appealing for leisure because parts of the city feel unsafe after dark, but the hotel itself is large, modern, busy, and centrally located, making it great for business travelers. The welcome was friendly, yet both check‑in and check‑out took a long time. My room was comfortable and fully equipped. Dining at the bar was a highlight—service was excellent and the food tasty, though a bit pricey. Breakfast offered a wide buffet, and the restaurant was crowded, but the large space and quick table clearing helped. I wouldn’t book again, but that’s more about my preference for historic towns and hotels than any fault with this property. Guayaquil and this style of hotel just don’t match my travel tastes. The vibe feels too informal and business‑like, lacking personality.
