The location was great. I appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room, and the room was quite large, as was the bathroom. The property looked much smarter in the photos, but our rooms looked tired. We repeatedly asked for a twin room and were told they didn’t have one upon arrival, then told we could have one for the first night only. Unfortunately our flight had been delayed by hours and it was getting late, so I was very frustrated by the situation. Finally I asked if the king beds were actually two single beds that could be separated—turns out they were! So we asked for an extra set of sheets and the problem was solved. It was just a shame it took so long and was so frustrating to get there.

“Perfect place to visit Valletta.”

A welcome glass of wine arrived in my room, and the hotel sits right beside the Cathedral with easy access to shopping or a quick ferry to Gozo; I’d definitely recommend it, though it doesn’t quite reach the 5‑star level of St. Julian or Gozo and the view could be better.

The property is stunning, located just outside the historic centre, and the breakfast is good with staff that are truly excellent; nothing to complain about.

“Can’t beat the location”

The place was spotless, the à la carte breakfast was lovely, and the spot is fantastic, but the rates are a touch steep compared to other hotels during the peak summer season.

The location is great, close to the Cathedral, market, and the city centre, and the breakfast fruit juice was excellent; the staff were friendly, helpful, and resolved issues quickly and professionally. However, the room was on the top floor, with the building’s air‑conditioning units running loudly all night, and the room’s own unit made even more noise than usual. The night we were moved, the new room’s AC barely worked, and the small fridge also added to the noise; maintenance promptly disconnected it when we asked, and the fridge in the new room was silent because it was inside a cabinet with a door. The à la carte breakfast ended up being bland.
