I booked thinking meals were included, but it turned out to be a room‑only stay. The booking details should clearly state this at the point of choosing a plan. The attached restaurant was also fully booked, which really put me off.

All the floors were covered in tatami, making it easy to get around and the kids didn’t have to keep putting shoes on and off, so everything went smoothly. The hot spring, however, was a bit disappointing.

The team was very friendly and helpful, making our stay very enjoyable. We liked the onsen and the relaxing lounge.

I stayed at a hotel that felt like a ryokan, and the onsen was fantastic—so good we skipped the shower in our room. The dining, however, seemed more like a shokudo, which was a bit disappointing after the several ryokans I'd tried before.
