Guests enjoy proximity to Tofta Beach’s soft sands, Kronholmens Seaside Golf Club, tennis courts, and cycling trails.

We liked the location, the room, and the suggestions for evening dining. However, there were no towels upon arrival, we were logged out of the room one day too early, the breakfast was disappointing with cold scrambled eggs, no fresh bread, untidy tables, and cleaning supplies left out in the dining area.

The location was great for visiting Tofta and we had a car to get around. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast, while simple, was acceptable. The bathroom needed a refresh and the TV didn’t work for regular channels.

We stayed a week at Toftagården with my husband and our little dog in August. The best part was definitely the location and environment – close to the beach, calm, green, and a good base for exploring all of Gotland. The pool was also a plus, although it was often crowded with playing children. Unfortunately, the overall experience was mixed. The restaurant was only open two days during our stay and then closed for the season. Nearby, there was essentially only a pizzeria, so for lunch and dinner we usually had to drive about 20 minutes to Visby. Breakfast fell short of expectations. The essentials were available, but we often had to remind staff to restock, and sometimes items ran out even though we paid the same room rate with breakfast included. The room felt worn and we received no cleaning at all throughout the week, despite the information stating cleaning was every other day. It was also warm, about 25 degrees in the room, and only a small fan was available. The windows couldn’t be opened properly and we couldn’t use the balcony door because we had a dog. For us traveling with a dog, there were also no trash cans in the area for using dog waste bags, which was quite inconvenient.
