The room was so quiet that I could hardly hear any outside noise, probably because the neighboring rooms were empty. The hotel sits right next to a metro station, and a short walk takes you to the Zhongli night market. The only downside was that the bed felt a bit firm.

I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, which was one of the best I’ve had while on a business trip in Zhongli; the room rate, including breakfast, offered great value. The station was close enough to hop to Taipei over the weekend. I can’t think of any major drawbacks, though the free Wi‑Fi seemed a little slow; it didn’t bother me much because everything else was perfect for the price.
