“Lack of hospitality, not worth the money.”
The view was nice, but that’s not really the hotel’s claim to fame – the desert scenery is common to almost every spot in Agafay. The real problem was a group of 60 people hosting a noisy launch party for a new hearing aid product right in the middle of the resort, which ruined the experience. It was unbelievable that the staff let them have a welcome drink by the pool while we were watching the sunset, and then let them party with loud music until 23:00. It felt more like a tourist camp in South France than a resort. The restaurant offered only a limited lunch and dinner at the highest possible price. When we checked out, no one asked how the stay was or if we needed help. It’s a shame; I don’t expect a customer‑service reply to change anything. I hope you rethink what hospitality should really mean, because right now it feels all about money.
