The vibe was relaxed, and the central spot made it easy to explore Trujillo; it’s not your typical hotel, plenty of spots to lounge and enjoy the beach view, though there’s no breakfast, only a kitchen.

The kitchen is spacious, the view is lovely, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are roomy; just 100 m from the coast and 300 m from the city’s first surf school, the atmosphere among guests and volunteers is great. I originally planned only two days but ended up booking seven because I didn’t want to leave.

This was our second stay at ATMA, and we again greatly appreciated the two new nights; we recommend the place without hesitation for the staff’s kindness, the cleanliness, the yoga classes, the food, and its proximity to the beach.
