We booked a day before arrival, and AZAL denied us the stopover service, citing no availability for our date. I’m glad I booked this hostel; the room matched the description, had a private bathroom with a tropical shower, a hair dryer, and sanitary toiletries. The room also had a fridge, TV, kettle, slippers, a bathrobe, welcome water, and tea packets—all spotless. The staff were very responsive and let us in early after our night flight. The hostel is very quiet, so we managed to nap during the day. If the airline refuses the service again, I’ll book here again.

“Fantastic”

The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. I had no cash, so they gave me a free coffee in the morning. The service was outstanding. The hostel itself was great: the beds were spacious for personal items and the air conditioning kept the rooms cool at night. Nothing else to note.

“Polecam”

The room was very clean, with fresh linens and towels. It had a small fridge, an electric kettle, and a safe. Water, tea, glasses, cups, and spoons were provided, and the rest of the kitchen utensils were in the common kitchen. There was also a TV and air conditioning, though I didn’t use it. The bathroom was tidy, spacious, and had plenty of shower space. The location was excellent, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and a family bakery just two steps from the hostel doors. In the common area there’s a washing machine, a drying rack, and a folding board with an iron. I’m very satisfied with my stay, though a bit more cleanliness in the kitchen cabinets would be nice.

I was greeted warmly and the check‑in went smoothly. The room was spacious and clean, with a small fridge and a kettle. The bed was very comfortable. The hostel is in the basement, but the room has a small window that lets in some air. The location is generally good—you can walk to downtown Baku or catch a bus to the city center. Several restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. The hostel is very loud, used for long‑term housing, and mainly occupied by men who behave inappropriately. People often talk loudly on the phone late into the night, and I had to intervene once. One night there was a loud argument that woke me up, which made me feel uneasy as a woman, even though Baku is otherwise a safe city. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work in my room.
