Everything was great. The spot is spot on – a bus stop right next to the hotel sends buses south to La Villa and Corvara, and north to Brunico, with transport in this area almost as good as Switzerland, the best in Europe. Transfers to La Villa and Corvara are convenient with minimal wait, so you can reach anywhere in the region quickly. Guests get a free pass that lets you ride buses and trains all over South Tyrol. The room was fantastic: a loft‑floor room with courtyard windows and a wonderful balcony, very comfortable, spacious, and cozy. The wooden alpine‑style décor, plenty of space for luggage, and a newly fitted bathroom with a top‑level modern shower cabin were all superb. Breakfasts were excellent, and dinners outdid every expectation, even though my pre‑booking reviews had set high standards. Everything was not just tasty but exquisitely delicious. Over the eight days we stayed, no dish repeated. The four‑course dinner includes a salad buffet that’s the same each day, but all salads are tasty and the homemade bread is superb. Every few days, an hour before dinner, an “aperitivo” is offered with tasty snacks and drinks like cider, prosecco, etc., all included in the half‑board price, so highly recommended. The hospitality and the surprisingly pleasant atmosphere at the hotel deserve special mention – a harmonious blend of sophistication and aristocracy with warmth and family‑hotel coziness. Huge thanks to the owners and staff for a wonderful time, and a special shout‑out to the chef.

The owners and staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was extensive and carefully selected, with veggie juice to make yourself, kombucha for those who want it, and also tasty sweet bites or gluten‑free options – something you rarely find elsewhere. Dinner is fantastic; definitely book half‑board. It’s served in style and with love. Drink prices are fair. The rooms are modern, with plenty of wood. There’s enough space for hiking gear and whatever else you bring. Finally, there are enough hangers (no awkward hooks to tangle with). The bathroom has Prija care products (with ginseng, heavenly scent). Cleaning is always good. Parking is in front of the house and in a side carport. The bus stop to Corvara/Bruneck is in front of the house. The buses were free to use with the “South Tyrol Alto Adige Guest Pass”.

Everything was excellent: service, courtesy, cleanliness, and the kitchen matches a starred restaurant. Highly recommended, a must‑try for anyone who wants to be pampered on a quiet vacation in Val Badia. Nothing to add.
