“Dias de paz na natureza”
The lodge is beautiful and well cared for by João and Maria Helena, who do everything to please guests. Breakfast is delicious; Maria Helena makes bread, cake, yogurt, jam—everything is great. The beds, sheets, and bath are excellent. Tours with João around the property, including a waterfall, are also great. The only thing I’d recommend avoiding is a regular car because the dirt roads are bumpy; I was lucky not to get caught in rain, but an off‑road, high‑clearance vehicle is ideal.
