The room was very good and clean. Dinner food was lovely and hot, and breakfast was the same – well cooked and hot. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Located in 6 acres of beautiful gardens, the Mercure Thurrock Stifford Hall is an 18th-century manor house offering modern bedrooms with air conditioning. The Regency Restaurant overlooks the gardens, while a more informal bar area provides alternative dining options. Nearby attractions include Lakeside and Bluewater shopping centres, Tilbury cruise terminal, and Brands Hatch Circuit, with central London just 20 minutes away.

Customer service was great, but breakfast finished at 09.00 Monday‑Friday. We missed that time, turned up at 09.30, and were incorrectly informed at check‑in about the time.

The car park was tight and awkward to park, and the room numbers were a maze to find. We ordered food on the app that never arrived.

Location, rooms clean. Total mix up checking in , as a couple we ended up in small room with very small double bed, breakfast selection the 2nd morning wasn’t anywhere like the first morning , not good selection
