The views were nice. The overall deterioration of the facilities was bad; there were no locks on the doors, so everything had to stay open, exposing personal belongings. The windows didn’t close properly, among other problems.
The room was cheap for the pricey area and the spot was great for watching the Pyrenees; the place is a private old house with several rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The kitchen is nice but cramped, so guests must share cooking time; the table fits only four people. When you arrive, read the sign by the front door on how to contact the host, ring the bell, and do not enter the house before the owner comes to escort you. Parking is easy, but arriving late might make it tricky; there are no keys and the room door is unlocked when you’re not inside, so keep valuables safe. The room has a sink and a small shower the size of a phone booth, and the toilet is shared with the other three rooms.
“A welcome rest stop on my GR10 walk.”
The place is perfectly located in this gorgeous village and on the GR10. The room matched the picture exactly, was comfortable and clean, and the small kitchen area was a bonus. Sophie was welcoming and helpful. No issues.
The reception was friendly and the option to cook meals was appreciated, but the bathroom noise could be heard from the room.
