The air conditioner quickly cooled me down when I checked in during the scorching 3‑digit temperatures, and the bed was firm yet very comfortable. A microwave and mini‑fridge were supplied, something many other hotels lack, and it felt like a refuge from the heat and the exhaustion after many hours of driving. It’s close to the freeway and restaurants nearby. However, there’s no continental breakfast or pool, and it’s hard to reach the staff in the morning because their office is locked after the announced opening hours.

The location is fine, but everything else was terrible. The chubby red‑haired woman in the office was extremely rude when I asked for clean towels. The maids never emptied the trash, leaving overflowing bins on the property, so I had to keep trash bags outside my door the whole stay. Dead bugs were in the room, the carpet wasn’t vacuumed, the sink had residue stains and wasn’t properly cleaned, and the stairs were broken and not up to Nevada codes, almost causing me to trip several times. When I tried to check out at the office, no one was there; calling the number got no answer. It was a horrible stay and I regret staying here.

The worst part is that it could be on a recommended list, although the price might be a factor. The TV didn’t work and the AC blew hot air. I couldn’t complain to the manager because they closed after 10 PM, so we suffered through the night with the room at least 80 degrees or higher; I had to leave the door partially open to get cool air from outside, making it impossible to sleep. I left as soon as daylight at 5:30 AM and think we should at least receive some credit for a future booking if we decide to return. Note: the manager discounted $20 for the TV. We didn’t mention the AC at that time because we thought it would cool down when we went out and didn’t return until after 10 PM. See above for the negative points.

The service and staff are below average. The environment is awful, right in front of a passing railroad, and the hotel rooms shake whenever a train passes.
