Hotel Le Pavillon Bleu, Soorts-Hossegor, is a 3-star hotel beside Lake Hossegor, 500 metres from Hossegor centre and golf course. Comfortable rooms offer pleasant views, massaging spa baths, and free WiFi. Spacious rooms have private balconies, some overlooking the lake, with minibars, flat-screen TVs, and hydro massage bathtubs. Buffet breakfast is served on the terrace or in-room. Sandy beaches are 1 km away, with the Spanish border under 45 minutes.

The lake terrace for breakfast, the welcome, and the bed comfort were all positive. The bathroom equipment needs updating, the overall décor should be refreshed (modern Basque‑Lanzarote theme), the breakfast room furniture is cheap, the façade feels too 90s, and the lake terrace needs landscaping, furniture, and a more intimate setup to shield it from the many passersby on the lake walk.

We ended up here because our car broke down, but it’s a nice place to stay. Everything is a bit old and could be cleaner, but the location is excellent with a beautiful river view and everything within walking distance. It’s great that the toilet is separate from the bathroom—something you don’t see often!

The location is great, and the terrace breakfast by the pool with a sea view is nice. The room is a bit cramped.

The lakeside spot at Hossegor is quiet, and the staff are extremely welcoming and smiling, which is a real bonus. The breakfast is well-stocked and generous.
