Located at the corner of Highways 7 and 511, Tay Inn offers Wi‑Fi, a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in each room. Flat‑screen cable TV with movie channels, fax and photocopying facilities add convenience. Perth Town Centre lies 2 km away, while the golf course, Classic Theatre Playhouses, and restaurants are within 3 km. County Fair Mall is a 30‑minute drive.

The spot is right next to all the cafés and restaurants, and the room was fresh and brand‑new. It’s a decent size, but the bed was a nightmare – booked a Queen, ended up with something smaller than a double.

The room was clean, but the smell from the cleaning products was over the top – like a laundry detergent bomb. I’m sensitive to scents, so it was awful. I asked for a different room and it smelled the same. I already paid, so I asked for a discount or a refund. I could’ve posted a scratch‑and‑sniff photo if I could. The scent stuck to my pajamas the next night.
