All the basic needs were met, but just barely. It’s a cheap hotel that doesn’t try to hide its price. The TV had a crack and cables were visible on the wall, and the bathroom was tiny.

We've been coming back to this old-school motel for years, and it's still one of our favorite spots. Tuscola's got a real charm to it, especially with the trains rolling through town - that's what brings us here. Plus, it's super convenient to have a great bar just down the street, and downtown's within walking distance, which is a bonus.

I checked into a hotel that was supposed to be a great deal, but it turned out to be a nightmare. The moment I stepped into the room, I was hit with a strong smell of smoke. The sheets had multiple stains on them, and I couldn't bear to stay in the room. I checked out within 10 minutes and had to find another place to stay, but unfortunately, I wasn't eligible for a refund since it was a non-refundable booking.

The hotel's got some quirks, but the hot water situation is a real winner. It's like they've got a never-ending supply, which is great for long, hot showers. On the other hand, the shower temperature control is super finicky – one second it's scalding, the next it's freezing. You've got to be careful not to get burned.

I was really looking forward to my stay, but unfortunately, the hotel didn't quite live up to my expectations. The location was great, right in the heart of the city, but the cleanliness of the place was a major letdown. The room was small but spotless, which made the state of the bathroom a real shock - it was dirty and lacked basic supplies. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel's dirty state made it hard to enjoy my stay.
