The location near Yongdusan Park was good, depending on what you want, and there are many nice restaurants nearby. The lady who checked us in was very friendly. In contrast, the owner, according to himself, is an utter obnoxious douchebag. He screamed and cursed at me when I didn’t want to move my car to another spot. I told him I didn’t want to move it because that would block the car behind me. He said he would move my car if necessary, so I refused. I didn’t want to give him my car keys to move it himself because I was parked in an official spot, well within the lines, and I don’t trust others with my (diplomatic) car. I know most Koreans can’t drive stick, so I was cautious. Only after showing him the manual transmission did he calm down. He was very rude and that completely ruined the experience. Besides the owner, the room was very dark with only one small window. It was also very cold because there was no heating, and the air conditioning only produced cold air, even with the temperature set to 25 °C.

The room came stocked with everything from lotion to aftershave, tea, coffee, a huge bath, a computer, etc., which was great. The only downside was the mosquitoes that swarmed both the area and the lift/hallway, but the reception staff were amazing and handed us a mosquito repeller machine to plug in.

The location and staff were good. The hotel was noisy late at night, and it wasn’t insulated as the room description claimed; the room was full of mirrors, which was a bit odd. Booking shouldn’t offer this type of room without warning customers – it’s a false representation.
