“Host impeccabile”
We stayed at this place for just four nights before heading to Mulu. Matnor is a perfect host: very kind, super helpful, knowledgeable about city attractions, and attentive to all guest needs. The room is small and simple, perfect for short stays between destinations. Every morning Matnor left breakfast at our door, cooked by his wife—her cooking is unbeatable, even better than restaurant food! The accommodation is on the opposite side of the river, and to get to town you can conveniently take a boat from the pier (about 5‑8 minutes walking) for 2MYR per person; everyone is very helpful, and on a few occasions we missed a boat by a few minutes and they turned around multiple times to pick us up. If we return to Kuching, we’ll definitely stay here again.
“Parfait”
Excellent value for money. The residential neighborhood is not touristy, so it’s quiet, and it’s just a few minutes’ walk from the pier. The room is large and comfortable. A washing machine and an outdoor kitchen are available. And most importantly, the owner is incredibly kind: we found a breakfast hanging on our door for two mornings! Nothing else to add.
“Zum selben Preis deutlich zentralere und bessere Zimmer in Kuching buchbar.”
The host. Very low, very loud in the evening.
Very comfortable and the owner is very kind! Will definitely come back.
“Goede prijs kwaliteits verhouding”
Nice location because you can take a boat to the city in less than ten minutes—really fun experience. The host is very friendly. The stay could have been cleaner; there was a lot of dust and hair on the floor, even in the toilet. The fridge wasn’t fresh and felt greasy.
